Thanks to the generous support of our donors, the School of Accountancy is able to award many scholarships to outstanding accounting majors at the annual awards ceremony each April. These scholarships are open to currently enrolled undergraduates pursuing accounting as a major. Students must be enrolled in or have completed ACCT 3110 Intermediate Accounting I in order to qualify for consideration.
A limited number of scholarship opportunities are available for inbound Master of Accountancy (MAcc) students. Interested seniors that have been accepted to the MAcc should indicate their desire to be considered for scholarships when completing their Intent to Enroll document. This document will be provided by Colby Lakas, MAcc Program Assistant Director, in the January/February time frame and is due by March 1.
Students should apply for School of Accountancy scholarships using the AUSOM system in Tiger i. The 2015-2016 scholarship application will be available sometime in October, and the deadline to apply is March 1st. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Students selected to receive scholarships will be notified through the AUSOM system and are required to attend the awards ceremony in April. Scholarships awarded in April will be credited to the recipient’s bursar account at the beginning of fall term.
