To be eligible for the on-campus Master of Accountancy (MAcc) Program at Auburn University, candidates must have completed a four year undergraduate degree from an accredited U.S. institution and the business and accounting foundation courses listed on the MAcc Program Prerequisite Checklist
Preferred Credentials for on-campus MAcc Enrollment:
A. Impeccable character and reputation
B. Competitive "average" quantitative credentials:
- Overall GPA (Average: 3.60)
- ACCT GPA (Average: 3.60)
- Upper-level ACCT GPA (Average: 3.60)
- GMAT Score (Average: 600)
C. Quality and relevant internship experience is strongly preferred
D. Applicants from AACSB accredited business programs are preferred.
E. Summer enrollment is strongly recommended to be ready for CPA exam in the spring and to complete any necessary prerequisites.
F. Applicants must have a four year accredited undergraduate degree in accounting from a U.S. institution.
The MAcc Program Admissions Committee takes a holistic approach when reviewing an application package; therefore, we do not advertise minimum credentials. Meeting the average quantitative credentials does not guarantee admission.
