Students must complete the Online Graduate School Application. This program is listed in the application system as Management Information Systems/MS (Non-Thesis).
Three letters of reference are required, along with a résumé and GMAT or GRE scores. GMAT scores are preferred. Please follow the instructions on the Graduate School website for submitting letters of recommendation, GMAT/GRE/TOEFL/IELTS scores, and transcripts. No material should be sent to the department. You may apply to enter the program at the beginning of any semester (Fall, Spring, or Summer).
Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. The Graduate School will determine whether non-traditional programs are acceptable; a four year equivalent collegiate educational program is required. Appropriate work experience is desired but not required. GMAT/GRE percentiles for the verbal and quantitative sections should exceed 60% for non-native English speaking applicants.
Students who do not have an undergraduate degree in business may be required to complete a series of business foundation courses. Previous coursework may be used to waive these courses.
Students may apply for student loans through the Financial Aid office at http://www.auburn.edu/administration/business_office/finaid/ (offsite link).
In addition to tuition, MSIS students pay $200 per credit hour in graduate professional fees. Tuition is subject to change annually.
Please adhere to the application deadlines posted on the Graduate School website. Please realize that the deadline is for a completed application package and that letters of recommendation, test scores, and transcripts can often take several weeks to be received and processed by the Graduate School. Applicants are thereby to begin the application process well in advance of the deadline.
