Benefits of Online Learning
The Auburn Accounting Online program is designed for the working professional who wants to further their education and career while continuing to work full-time. The Raymond J. Harbert College of Business' online programs blend traditional instruction with modern technology to extend educational opportunities beyond campus. Students can improve their educational credentials from their home or work site while also balancing career or family obligations. The programs are fully accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). Online students receive the same quality of instruction and assignments as campus students.
History of Quality
Since 1989, the Harbert College of Business has been on the forefront of distance education and continues to deliver the "classroom experience" to online students. The School of Accountancy has been offering the online Master of Accounting since 2000 and the Accounting Bridge program since 2005 and now offers Auburn University's first undergraduate online degree, the Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
The Auburn Difference
Online learning at Auburn Accounting Online allows students the flexibility and convenience they need to balance their family, work, and school responsibilities without sacrificing a quality education. On-campus lectures are taped in smart classrooms and streamed to distance students. Lectures may be viewed live or at a time convenient to students' work schedules. Online discussion boards supplement in class discussion and facilitate interaction among peers and professors. The accounting programs offered through Auburn Accounting Online are unique in that students receive streamed on-campus lectures, assignments, and exams identical to those of on-campus peers, while still offering the flexibility and convenience of an online distance learning program.
