To apply to the MS Finance Online program, fill out the Graduate School Application. This program is listed in the application system as Finance (Distance Program).
The MSF online program accepts admissions in fall and spring semesters only. There
are no admissions for summer semesters.
Currently we only accept online applications for students whose primary residence is in the U.S., Canada, or who are in the U.S. Military.
Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized university or college and should have completed Common Body of Knowledge courses in economics, calculus, and statistics. Admission is competitive and the number of candidates accepted each year is limited.
A completed application includes:
- Application fee paid to the Graduate School
- Official undergraduate university transcript
- Official GMAT score (preferred) or GRE score
- Official TOEFL or IELTS score (international students only)
- Two letters of reference
- Personal Statement

TUITION & FEES
Online MS Finance students are charged a per credit hour fee for their courses regardless of their residency. The cost of tuition is currently $900 per credit hour as of Fall 2019. The online MS Finance degree is a minimum of 30 credit hours.
Students admitted to the online MS Finance program pay a $250 confirmation fee. Online students who begin their coursework in the fall or spring semesters are also invited to attend new-student orientation on Auburn’s campus. There is an additional fee of $200 to attend campus orientation.
For fall enrollment, students should submit completed applications no later than May 1. For spring enrollment, students should submit completed applications no later than November 1. Applications submitted after the deadlines may be considered on a case by case basis. There are no admissions for the summer semester.
