Curriculum and Courses
A minimum of 30 semester hours of coursework beyond the common body of knowledge courses are required for the MS Finance degree. A maximum of 6 graduate hours of credit can be transferred from another university with committee approval.
Common Body of Knowledge
Students are expected to have completed and/or satisfied these undergraduate prerequisites prior to starting the program. If the following courses or their equivalent at another university have not been successfully completed, the student may be asked to enroll in the deficient courses. Such courses will not count towards the MS Finance degree.
NOTE: STAT 2610 may substitute for BUAL 2600 and BUAL 3600
- FINC 7556: Applied Financial Management (Spring Only)
- BUSI 7116: Financial Analysis (Spring and Fall)
*must be taken in first semester enrolled. Pre-req for all other FINC courses
