Students must complete the Auburn University Graduate School e-application and pay the application fee.
The Auburn MBA program accommodates students with undergraduate degrees in all disciplines. The GMAT is required for all applicants except those with a Ph.D. or J.D. degree. While the GMAT is the preferred admissions test, the Auburn MBA program and admissions office will review a GRE score on a case by case basis. Only students living in the United States can participate in the online MBA, with the exception of U.S. military personnel.
Students may apply for student loans through the Financial Aid office http://www.auburn.edu/student_info/student_affairs/finaid/index.html.
ON CAMPUS ORIENTATION OPTION:
New online MBA students who begin their program in the fall semester will be invited to attend new student orientation just before the start of fall classes. While online students are not required to come to campus, we do encourage you to attend. Previous online students who have chosen to come to campus at the beginning found this option to be rewarding and they felt more engaged in their online MBA experience. There is an additional fee to attend new student orientation to cover meals and other activities. Transportation to campus as well as lodging are in addition to this fee and are the responsibility of the student.
Online MBA students are charged a per credit hour fee for the MBA courses. The current online MBA semester fee is $850 per credit hour. Tuition is reviewed and set each summer by the Auburn University Board of Trustees and is adjusted for the following fall semester. The online MBA is a minimum of 39 credit hours.
Students who chose to accept the offer of admission for the Auburn online MBA program are to pay a $250 orientation fee to cover the costs of the academic leveling coursework that is made available to each student through an online portal once they confirm the offer of admission.
The online MBA receives new applicants for both fall and spring entry terms. We will begin reviewing online MBA applications for the fall entry term on February 1. We will continue to review new applications and make admissions decisions until we reach capacity for that entry term. For applicants who desire to enroll in the spring semester, we will begin reviewing applications on September 1. The final deadline to receive a GMAT score is September 1. We will continue to review new applications and make admissions decisions until we reach capacity for that entry term.
