Students must complete the Auburn University Graduate School e-application and pay a required application fee.
Auburn MBA Programs accommodates students with undergraduate degrees in all disciplines. The GMAT is required for all applicants except those with a Ph.D. or J.D. degree. While the GMAT is the preferred admissions test, Auburn MBA Programs and the Admissions Committee will review GRE scores on a case-by-case basis. Only students living in the United States can participate in the online MBA, with the exception of U.S. military personnel.
Students may apply for student loans through Student Financial Aid.
NEW GRADUATE BUSINESS STUDENT ORIENTATION OPTION
New Online MBA students starting their program in the fall semester are invited to visit the Auburn campus for New Graduate Business Student Orientation, slated for the week prior to the start of fall classes. Orientation for those starting during spring semester occurs in December. On-campus participation is not required for Online MBA students, although we've found that students attending found it beneficial and were more engaged in their MBA experience. Those not attending are required to view orientation online.
Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for exact orientation dates.
Those attending the campus event pay an additional $145 orientation fee to cover meals and other activities. Transportation to campus and lodging are in addition to this fee and are the responsibility of the student.
Online MBA students are charged a distance education fee of $875 per credit hour. (The Online MBA requires a minimum of 39 credit hours.) This fee is reviewed and set each summer by the Auburn University Board of Trustees and adjusted for the following fall semester.
Students who accept the offer of admission for Online MBA pay a $250 confirmation fee. This fee, which is assessed when they confirm the offer of admission, covers the costs of the academic leveling coursework that is made available through our online portal.
The Online MBA accepts applicants for both fall and spring entry terms. We begin reviewing Online MBA applications for the fall entry term on February 1. We review new applications and make admissions decisions until we reach capacity for that entry term.
For Online MBA applicants who desire to enroll in the spring semester, we begin reviewing applications on September 1, which is the deadline to receive GMAT scores. We review new applications and make admissions decisions until we reach capacity for that entry term.
