Jonathan Mayer, a 2006 graduate of Auburn University’s Master of Accountancy program, was recently honored with the first annual ‘Standing Ovation’ for top young CPAs in personal financial planning. The Standing Ovation Program recognizes young CPAs who exhibit exemplary professional achievement in specific areas and was recognized at the AICPA’s Advanced Personal Financial Planning Conference in Las Vegas.
Jonathan works for Ernst & Young as a senior manager with the firm’s Private Client Services practice in Atlanta. He currently specializes in providing holistic tax and financial planning services to entrepreneurs, business owners, and ultra-high net-worth individuals and their families.
According to Amy Murphy, Director of Accounting Graduate Programs, “even when enrolled in the undergraduate program, Jonathan exhibited a level of professionalism and commitment to the accounting profession unparalleled to his peers. His recognition as an exemplary CPA comes as no surprise to me.”
Jonathan also serves as a member of the School of Accountancy Advisory Council.
Congratulations Jonathan! We are very proud of you!
