The School of Accountancy is thrilled to announce that the online Master of Accountancy has been selected in the Top 10 Best Online Graduate Business Programs by the U.S. News and World Report for the third year in a row. This category was first published in 2015 and is “based on factors such as level of accreditation, reputation for excellence among peer institutions, and academic and career support services offered to students.” The Auburn programs included in this category include the Master of Accountancy, Master of Information Systems, and Master of Finance.
U.S. News and World Report uses five different indicators to determine the rankings: student engagement (33%), admissions selectivity (20%), peer reputation (20%), faculty credentials and training (13.5%), and student services and technology (13.5%). Over 140 different institutions were evaluated for the 2017 rankings.
“We are honored to be ranked in the Top 10 for the third consecutive year,” says Amy Murphy, Director of Online and Graduate Programs. “Our programs continue to grow and attract high caliber students across the country. Students love that they are receiving identical instruction and degree as their on-campus counterparts."
The Raymond J. Harbert College of Business leads the way in supporting the university’s mission “to provide traditional and non-traditional students broad access to the institution's educational resources.”
