Girls Who Invest CEO Janet Cowell

The Financial management association invites you to join the second annual inclusion and diversity forum with Girls Who Invest CEO and keynote speaker Janet Cowell.
Janet Cowell is the former North Carolina State Treasurer, serving from 2009 to 2017, and is the first woman to hold that position in North Carolina. She previously holds roles as member of the Raleigh City Council and a two-term member of the North Carolina Senate. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania (BA), Penn's Wharton School of Business (MBA), and the Lauder Institute (Master's in International Studies). Cowell’s career experience extends to banking, consulting, and asset management, holding previous positions at SJF Ventures, HSBC, and Lehman Brothers. She now serves as CEO for Girls Who Invest, an organization that seeks to equip undergraduate women with the skills necessary to pursue a career in asset management.
All Auburn University Faculty and students are highly encouraged to attend.
