MBA Student Lacey Kent Accepts Deloitte Position
Second-year MBA student Lacey Kent recently completed an eight-week summer internship at Deloitte, the industry-leading audit, consulting, tax and advisory service, and has accepted an offer to begin her professional career with the company’s advisory practice in Atlanta.
The employment offer came at the completion of her internship that entailed working with a Deloitte team on an internal audit engagement, ensuring that the client was compliant with various federal regulations.
“I’m extremely excited to accept the offer and begin my career with Deloitte next year,” Kent said. “The position will offer insight into the structure and processes of a variety of corporations, and it will provide me a broad perspective on best practices of successful organizations.”
Kent began her collegiate career at Auburn during the Fall of 2011 and graduated with a degree in Biomedical Science. She chose to pursue her MBA at Auburn beginning in 2015 because the graduate program allowed her to diversify her knowledge, while creating opportunities for a new and exciting career path.
After joining the MBA program a year ago, Kent chose to pursue a Master of Finance in conjunction with her MBA. She also works as a graduate assistant in the MBA office, where she assists with recruiting prospective students and planning and organizing events.
