Physicians Executive MBA Alumni, Dr. Ben Spitalnick and Dr. Keith Seibert, co-authored and published a book ‘‘Baby Care Anywhere: A Quick Guide to Parenting On The Go’’ this summer. This go-to guide is the perfect, handy companion for new parents who need quick and easy-to-find answers to difficult questions.
The portable pocket guide to baby basics fits in a diaper bag or stroller pocket, making it a great resource for on-the-go moms and dads. Written by two pediatricians, ‘‘Baby Care Anywhere’’ addresses 150 of the most frequent questions and concerns raised by new parents. Drs. Spitalnick and Seibert have culled essential information that addresses questions their patient families raise over and over again. “Think of it as the reference manual that should have come with your newborn,” the doctors explain. The book covers picking a pediatrician, jaundice, diaper rash, earaches, immunizations, sleep, reflux, fever, and much more!
Ben Spitalnick, MD, MBA, FAAP, is a general pediatrician whose clinical experiences include office patient care, hospitalist duties, and newborn nursery care. He is managing partner of an 11-physician pediatric practice in Savannah, GA.
Keith Seibert, MD, MBA, FAAP, is a pediatrician and board member for a large multispecialty group practice in Savannah, GA. He has served as chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at both of the region’s hospital systems.
Dr. Spitalnick and Dr. Seibert both graduated from Auburn University’s PEMBA program in 2010. The PEMBA program provides physicians with the proficiency to assume a leadership positions in healthcare or related industries. Tailored specifically for your needs, Auburn’s program affords physicians the opportunity to earn a fully-accredited MBA degree with minimal interference with student’s professional demands.
“The education I received from my Auburn MBA has given me the skills, confidence, and tools to manage the complexities of healthcare administration,” said Dr. Spitalnick. “Most medical training prepares physicians to manage patients, but not to manage the financial or administrative aspects of their career. I highly recommend the Auburn MBA program to all physicians, whether they are looking to improve their own medical practice, or play a bigger role in the healthcare landscape.”
