Auburn University Physicians Executive MBA [PEMBA] program is proud to announce a Corporate Partnership has been established with the Tennessee Medical Association [TMA].
The Tennessee Medical Association is the state’s largest professional association for physicians.
TMA improves the health of Tennesseans by bringing all physicians together to advance the effectiveness of physician care and ensure proper policy to serve the best interests of patients and the profession. Its member services include advocacy, education, leadership training, legal guidance and insurance recoupment.
The partnership will involve Auburn’s participation in TMA’s annual membership meeting, medical symposium events and professional development workshops. Auburn hopes to establish a relationship with the Tennessee medical community to promote the benefits of an MBA combined with a medical degree.
"The Auburn University Physicians Executive MBA program is looking forward to our
new corporate partnership with the Tennessee Medical Association,” said Matthew Cox,
Student Services Coordinator for Graduate Executive Programs. “I believe the healthcare
industry in the state of Tennessee and the programs Auburn offer will complement one
another greatly. We look forward to working together to enhance the business education
options to TMA’s members and increase the visibility of the Auburn PEMBA Program throughout
the state of Tennessee."
