The American Tax Association (ATA) is investing in the future of the tax profession by sponsoring its second “Why Tax?” video competition. The competition requires students to prepare a one to three minute video that encourages a tax career track.
Big 4 firm sponsors are funding cash prizes for winners and dedicating staff time to judging submissions. The deadline for students to upload videos and submit application materials is November 5. No pressure, but when the ATA sponsored this competition a few years ago, one of our Auburn students won first prize! The ATA is a large organization of accounting tax professors. All three of our tax faculty are actively involved in the ATA. For more information, see the ATA webpage http://aaahq.org/ATA-Video-Contest/ATA-Video-Contest-2.
