Professional Activities

Dr. Sauser has published in such journals as Educational and Psychological Measurement, Entrepreneurship Policy Journal, GoodBusiness, Health Marketing Quarterly, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Employment Counseling, Journal of Executive Education, Journal of Extension, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Development, Journal of Nonprofit and Public Sector Marketing, Perceptual and Motor Skills, Personnel Psychology, Psychological Reports, Public Personnel Management, Review of Public Personnel Administration, SAM Advanced Management Journal , SAM Management in Practice, Science and Engineering Ethics, The Bureaucrat, and The Southern Business and Economic Journal. He has also published 20 book chapters and is co-editor of a book, Marketing University Outreach Programs. At present he is a member of the editorial board of the SAM Advanced Management Journal and is a reviewer for the Journal of Business Ethics. Sauser is licensed by the Alabama Board of Examiners in Psychology and holds a specialty diploma in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology. He is a former president of the Alabama Psychological Association, a former chair of the Alabama Board of Examiners in Psychology, and a former president of the Society for Advancement of Management (SAM). Among his honors and awards are a Georgia Chamber of Commerce Citation for Meritorious Service to Georgia, a Certificate of Appreciation from the Governor of Alabama, an Auburn Alumni Association Award for Excellence in Outreach and Extension, the Society for Advancement of Management President's Award of Merit, and the 2003 Frederick W. Taylor Key from SAM.
