Bob is a former Fortune 50 operating executive including assignments at WestRock as where he served as Vice-President of Marketing, GE Energy as General Manager of the Environmental Services business, and Thermo Fisher Scientific as Vice-President and General Manager. Prior to Auburn, Bob served as Lecturer in the Marketing and Management Department at the University of North Georgia.

Bob also served for three years as an Examiner for the U. S. Commerce Dept.’s Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. Currently, he serves as the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Malta and in this capacity, supports bilateral trade and investment.

For the past 20 years, Bob has focused on marketing strategy for companies under distress. He led six turnarounds and was recognized with an award from the Business Marketing Association of New York for Best Campaign.

Bob is a trusted advisor to the CEOs of companies worldwide including Alamo Group, Marmon Group, and others.

Originally from Mobile, AL, Bob received his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech (BME, 2000), followed by business degrees from Emory University (MBA, 2000) and Georgia State University (MS  Management, 2004).
