Mr. Smedberg is an alumnus of Andersen Consulting, which became Accenture (Accent on the Future). He worked on three continents, participated in Accenture’s IPO and rose to the executive ranks. His clients included Caterpillar, Mercedes, Mitsubishi Fuso, Honda, UPS, Harley Davidson and Microsoft. Global CRM and ERP deployments, post-merger integration and outsourcing and off-shoring analysis are areas of expertise. Mr. Smedberg has grown into entrepreneurism with industry ventures including real estate, hotel/hospitality management and entertainment management.
Teaching: Mr. Smedberg is honored to teach at Auburn University and currently focusses on Supply Chain Management and technologies empowering the industry. He also works with the Center for Supply Chain Innovation (CSCI) to enable corporate participation at Auburn University.
Service: Mr. Smedberg is VP of the Greene County Historic Society, serves on the Board of The Japan America Society of Alabama, the Alabama Preservation Trust and the Resource-Fiber.com Advisory Board.
