F. Nelson Ford is Associate Professor and Coordinator of MIS Programs in the Department of Management at Auburn University. Dr. Ford has published in a wide range of journals including MIS Quarterly, The Journal of Management Information Systems, Decision Support Systems, Interfaces, and Expert Systems with Applications . His teaching and research interests are in the areas of information systems, management and application of information technology to improve decision making and performance throughout the organization, and integrity in scholarship. He especially enjoys working with the student teams in the Systems Analysis and Design course. Other favorite educational activities include presenting his talk titled 'How to Make Better Grades and Have More Fun' in sororities, fraternities, and dorms, and engaging in small group discussions with graduate students. Dr. Ford has consulted in several organizations and has actively participated in training State of Alabama managers through Alabama's Certified Public Manager Program. In his personal life, Dr. Ford is a Christian, he enjoys life with his wife, and he has two grown children.
