Dr. Park is an Associate Professor of Finance and the McLain Family Professor in the Harbert College of Business. Park’s research interests are in the areas of market efficiency, risk management, international finance, corporate governance, and political finance. His work has been published in leading finance and economics journals such as the Journal of Financial Economics, Financial Management, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Corporate Finance, and Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization.
He received the Shinhan Bank & KAFA Young Scholar Award and the Financial News & KAFA Top-Journal Paper Award from the Korea America Finance Association and the STOXX Best Paper Research Award at the European Financial Management Association Meeting. He is also the recipient of the Outstanding Research Award from the Harbert College of Business at Auburn University. Prior to joining the faculty at Auburn, Dr. Park taught at Louisiana Tech University and the University of South Florida.
