Emmons manages the ATAC's regional marketing, publicity and communications efforts and conducts training and development in a variety of areas, including Organizational and Management Communication. His professional career comprises more than 25 years in corporate communication, public relations, journalism, advertising, and training and development. In addition to academe, Emmons has worked in the news media, in corporate communications with the Tennessee Valley Authority's nuclear power program and West Point Stevens textile manufacturing, and in industrial training and development with the State of Georgia. Emmons also has taught as an adjunct instructor in Auburn's Journalism program. Prior to joining the Auburn Technical Assistance Center, Emmons served as Communication Director for Auburn's Research Division.
