Student Giving 2014
What is the goal of the Student Giving Campaign?
Our goal for this campaign is 330 (about 10%) student gifts to the Harbert College
of Business. Last year (2013) 128 students at Harbert College participated in the
campaign. That’s more participants than ever before and HCOB was #1 on campus. Check out our Honor Roll of student donors.
How can a student afford to make a gift?
Any amount of money can make a difference. It’s not the amount of your gift that
matters; it’s participation that counts! Any one who makes a gift of any amount can
participate in the dunking booth event. Dean Hardgrave will match all gifts given
to the college by donating the same amount
Why should I make a gift, doesn’t my tuition cover enough?
Each student in the Harbert College of Business benefits from the generosity of others,
whether it’s through scholarship, assistantship, classroom technology, or knowledge
from your favorite professor. Private funding provides about half of our budget at
the Harbert College. For more reasons to give, check out #dunkthedean.
