In an effort to recognize Auburn University’s established and emerging business leaders and innovators, the Raymond J. Harbert College of Business is accepting nominations for awards that will be presented as part of the 2017 Auburn University Entrepreneurship Summit.
Entrepreneur Summit programming includes the Top Tigers awards luncheon and the Entrepreneur Hall of Fame gala.
Presented in partnership with Business Alabama magazine and Warren Averett CPAs and Advisors, the Top Tigers awards honor the fastest-growing companies founded, owned or led (CEO, President, VP, CFO, etc.) by Auburn University alumni. Nominees are evaluated based on revenue growth and are ranked in small, medium and large revenue categories.
The Entrepreneur Hall of Fame program honors Auburn alumni who have demonstrated strong leadership skills and perseverance in building a successful business or changing the fortunes of an established company. Individual awards will also be presented for Auburn University’s Entrepreneur of the Year and Young Entrepreneur of the Year. The Entrepreneur of the Year Award is open to Auburn alumni who graduated more than 10 years ago, while the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award is open to Auburn alumni who graduated within the past decade.
Former Stryker CEO and Chairman Emeritus John Brown was the inaugural Hall of Fame inductee. Chicken Salad Chick Co-Founder and Vice President of Brand Development Stacy Brown and Bellhops Co-Founder and CEO Cameron Doody earned the Entrepreneur and Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards in 2016.

Now in its third year, the Auburn University Entrepreneurship Summit will be held March 30-31 at The Hotel at Auburn University & Dixon Conference Center.
