Declaring Your Major
All students enter the College of Business as 'Pre-Business' students.
All students who enter the College of Business as freshmen will take the BUSI 1010 course during. This course exposes students to each of the 12 majors offered by the college and may help them in making a decision. Because all Business students must complete the same* Pre-Business core requirements, they will have time to research their major options and career goals prior to declaring a major. Students are advised to meet with a career counselor in OPCD (101 Lowder Hall) to discuss career goals as part of their research.
DECLARATION REQUIREMENTS: Pre-Business students must successfully complete the following 5 course requirements (or their honors or transfer equivalents) to be eligible to declare a major. Students are highly advised to have all 5 declaration courses completed and a major declared no later than the middle of their sophomore year.

- MATH 1680 - Business Calculus I (may substitute MATH 1610 - Calculus I)
- COMP 1000 - PC Application (may substitute COMP 1003 - PC Applications -- online learning)
