Office of Academic Advising
The Office of Academic Advising guides you through your undergraduate academic schedule and helps you understand the University’s policies and procedures. Your Harbert College Academic Advisors will help you organize your undergraduate plan of action and will provide information on educational options and professional development activities.
All students should see their advisor at least once per semester. Academic advising is available via group advising sessions or a one-on-one advising sessions. Group advising is highly recommended by 97% of College of Business students during the 2015-2016 academic year. Advising sessions are available to Business majors only.
- Group Advising: Offered on an appointment basis each Fall and Spring term (August-October and January-March)
- One-on-one Advising: Offered on a walk-in basis. General walk-in hours* are M-F, 7:45-11:45 AM and 12:45-3:45 PM.
*Walk-in hours are subject to change based on student orientation sessions or campus events. Students may call 844-7831 or 844-4049 to inquire about a specific day's walk-in hours.
