- Obtain knowledge and guidance on how to best prepare for the internship and full-time career recruiting process of firms in this arena through interaction with current professionals
- Build relationships and foster ongoing networking opportunities with current professionals
- Gather best practices and tips on living in New York City
Selection process is highly competitive. There are up to 16 total slots available. Our staff/faculty committee reviews the applications and selects participants.
All on-campus graduate students in the HCoB are invited to submit an application which includes a set of short essays. Candidates’ GPA and extracurricular activities related to the financial industry are considered as well as their involvement with the OPCD.
Undergraduates must be nominated by a HCoB professor in order to be invited to apply. If nominated, undergraduate candidates will be invited to apply and they will be evaluated on the same criteria as detailed above.
Application process opens at the beginning of the Fall semester and closes in early September.
Students who are selected must be available to travel during AU’s Fall Break (Monday-Friday).
The majority of the travel expenses are paid for excluding expenses for dinners and optional cultural experiences such as plays and tours.
Application will be available no later than August 15, 2015
