Students must complete the Online Graduate School Application. This program is listed in the application system as Management Information Systems/MS
(Non-Thesis). You may apply to enter the program at the beginning of any semester
(Fall, Spring, or Summer).
Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. The Graduate School will determine whether non-traditional programs are acceptable; a four year equivalent collegiate educational program is required. Appropriate work experience is desired but not required. GMAT/GRE percentiles for the verbal and quantitative sections should exceed 60% for non-native English speaking applicants.
A completed application includes:
- Application fee paid to the Graduate School
- Official undergraduate university transcript(s)
- Official GMAT score (preferred) or GRE score
- Official TOEFL or IELTS score (international students only)
- Two letters of recommendation

Tuition for the graduate programs in the Harbert College of Business may be found here. In addition to tuition, MSIS students pay a $450 confirmation fee and $200 per credit hour in professional fees. Tuition is subject to change annually. The professional fees cover the cost of the international trip in the Spring semester.
Please adhere to the application deadlines posted on the Graduate School website. Please realize that the deadline is for a completed application package and that letters of recommendation, test scores, and transcripts can often take several weeks to be received and processed by the Graduate School. Applicants are thereby to begin the application process well in advance of the deadline.
