Master of Science in Finance Online Program Overview
The MS Finance program requires the completion of 30 credit hours and admits in the spring and fall semesters. The program is only open to students currently living in the United States, Canada, or are in the U.S. Miltary posted around the world.
MS Finance students take a comprehensive examination based on the finance coursework completed. Students must also demonstrate proficiency in oral and written communication.
Students who choose the online option of the Auburn MS Finance program have the same academic features as the on campus students. Students enrolled in the online MS Finance degree see the same lectures, have the same professors, exams and projects as the full time, on campus program. This AACSB accredited program offers a convenient delivery method that allows students to complete their degree with no work stoppage. If for any reason you are transferred from your current location, this degree option is portable and can go where you go.
An online student that is working full-time should attempt no more than 6 credit hours (generally 2 courses) per semester. Summer offerings are limited, and the condensed timeframe is not often conducive to our working students. You should expect to take 5 fall or spring semesters to complete the program which is about two and a half years. You do have 6 years to complete the degree, but careful planning is necessary to ensure all courses are completed within that timeframe.
