Come celebrate this MLK Day with a service trip to Selma, AL! Join Alternative Student Breaks (ASB) and Black Student Union (BSU) for a day of service within the Selma community, a tour of Selma's Interpretive Center, and a march over the Edmund Pettus Bridge with Councilwoman Angela Benjamin in remembrance of those who fought for people's rights as citizens to vote.
This trip is only $10 and lasts from 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Monday, January 20.
Transportation, breakfast, and lunch will be provided. This day is important in the history of Alabama and we hope you will join us to learn about and give back to a community still affected by its past.
