Horton-Hardgrave Hall Overview

Floor G

Innovation Lab

This dedicated space supports Harbert’s commitment to inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs. The INNOVATION LAB fosters creative thinking in an atmosphere that encourages students to move beyond the boundaries of conventional practices to the innovations that will change business.

Team Rooms

Learning doesn’t stop at the end of class. TEAM ROOMS located throughout the building allow students to continue dialogue among themselves. These intimate spaces, equipped with the latest technology and learning resources, help students push ideas and build teamwork dynamics.

Atrium

The ATRIUM will serve as the heart and hub of the new business building that provides an active, two-story space where students and faculty go and work in a relaxed “living room” setting. The atrium is surrounded by classrooms, team rooms, and a central staircase that connects to all floors of the building. The large glass wall allows open views from the atrium to the courtyard and amphitheater between the two business buildings.

Event Space and Theater

This BROADWAY EVENT SPACE AND THEATER allows the College to be a destination host for conferences that elevate the Harbert brand. It also provides opportunity for students to meet with potential employers through career fairs and other industry engagement opportunities.

Classrooms

Versatile CLASSROOM design allows students to pivot seamlessly from lectures to small group discussions, minimizing the distractions of transitions. Flexible furniture and space promote collaborative, student-centered learning in rooms with multiple erasable surfaces and technology for connecting devices.
