Lynch is a lecturer in the department of supply chain management at Auburn University. He recently completed his doctorate at the Robert C. Vackar College of Business and Entrepreneurship, The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. He is a former marine who was trained in logistics and transportation.
Lynch teaches supply chain management courses to undergraduate students in the SCM program at Auburn. He has extensive teaching experience in various courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
Lynch has presented his research at Production and Operations Management Society (POMS) and Decision Sciences Institute (DSI) conferences. His research interests include understanding the antecedents and consequences of supply chain disruptions and supply chain risk management. He is a recipient of the Dwight David Eisenhower Transportation Fellowship Program Grant.
Lynch participates in professional activities by serving as a reviewer for Operations and Supply Chain Management Division in the Academy of Management.
