        Scholarships

In the School of Accountancy, we believe in a high-quality, affordable education. Thanks to the generous support of our donors, we’re able to provide financial assistance to many of our campus students. Each April, the School of Accountancy awards departmental scholarships to outstanding accounting majors at the annual awards ceremony. Eligibility criteria are outlined below.

        Undergraduate Students

To be considered for one of the School of Accountancy scholarships awarded at the annual awards ceremony, you must:

        • Be a declared accounting major,
        • Be enrolled in or have completed ACCT 5110: Intermediate Accounting I, and
        • Apply for the School of Accountancy scholarships through AUSOM on AUAccess between November 1st and March 1st (applications after March 1st will not be considered).

If you are selected for a scholarship, you will be notified through AUSOM, and you are expected to attend the awards ceremony. Your scholarship will be credited to your eBill account at the beginning of the fall term.

        Graduate Students

There are a limited number of scholarship opportunities available for inbound Master of Accountancy (MAcc) students. If applying to the Master of Accountancy program, you should indicate your desire to be considered for scholarships in the GA Assistantship/Scholarship application sent by MAcc program administration following submission of your program application.
