About the Certificate
The Graduate Certificate in Management Information Systems is a 12 hour (4 3-hour courses) non-degree seeking program that offers an opportunity to grow professionally. This program allows students to select four courses to fit their needs. Concentrations can be formed to strengthen skills in database development and administration, security and information assurance, systems analysis and design, business analysis, and many more. Up to 12 hours taken in the certificate program may be transferred into the MSIS program. This program is available to either on campus or online students and admits in the fall, spring, and summer semesters.
Current Auburn graduate students may substitute one three-hour course from their current degree program for one of the four required courses at the discretion of the Graduate Programs officer. Please note that BUAL 6650/6 cannot be substituted as it is a prerequisite for BUAL 6660/6.
