Graduate Certificate Application Process
Students must complete the Online Graduate School Application. This program is listed in the application system as Certificate/Graduate-Management Information Systems. You may apply to enter the program at the beginning of any semester (Fall, Spring, or Summer).
Note: Due to federal guidelines and regulations, Graduate Certificate programs do not qualify for financial aid.
Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. The Graduate School will determine whether non-traditional programs are acceptable; a four year equivalent collegiate educational program is required. Appropriate work experience is desired but not required.
International applicants should submit all required materials at least 90 days before the first day of class of the semester in which the student wishes to begin graduate study. Domestic students should submit all materials at least 45 days before the first class day. However, most academic units make admission decisions several months in advance. Thus, applicants should check with the department to which they seek admission to determine when materials should be submitted. Check the contact information for your department of interest.
Please realize that the deadline is for a completed application package and that letters of recommendation, test scores, and transcripts can often take several weeks to be received and processed by the Graduate School. Applicants are thereby to begin the application process well in advance of the deadline.
