        Shareholders' Recognition Society

More specifically, private gifts made to the Harbert Excellence Fund enable us to enhance the student experience and ensure our graduates are job ready and career minded.

We truly value the effect that Shareholders’ Recognition Society members have on our success as a college. Because of that, we make every effort to give special opportunities & acknowledgement to members throughout the year. As a member, you’ll receive:

        FAQ

        • When do I need to make my gift in order to get recognition as a member?

The Shareholders’ Society recognition year runs from January 1 to December 31. You can donate at any point in the year to be invited to tailgates/events.

        • Can I do a company match for my Shareholders’ Society membership?

Yes. As long as your personal contribution plus your company match equal the minimum amount required for membership, you will qualify. For example, if you contribute $500 and your company contributes $500, that would count for $1,000 total.

        • Do my contributions to another area of the college qualify me for membership?

While your support of a specific area of the college is greatly appreciated, only gifts to the Harbert Excellence Fund qualify you for recognition in this society.

        • What does my contribution include?
Your membership includes unique engagement opportunities, such as invitations to speak at young alumni events, presenting to college organizations, and/or serving as a judge in various business competitions. You will also receive invitations to events, recognition on our annual report, communication from the college, and priority for purchasing football game parking.
        • Are there different giving tiers?

Yes. You can give at the $1,000 - $4,999 level which allows for engagement opportunities, invitations to events, recognition on our annual report, communication from the college, and second priority for purchasing football game parking.

If you contribute $5,000 or greater, this is considered an Executive Shareholder, which allows for all the same as above, including first priority for purchasing football game parking.

        • I qualify for membership, but do not see my name on the website.
We update this list at the beginning of each month. Check back at the beginning of next month to see your name. Gifts can take a few days to process in our system, so if you gave close to the end of the month, you may have to wait another month to see your name.
        • Football Parking Information

In order to qualify to purchase football parking passes each year, you must contribute $1,000 or more and have your entire gift made by December 31 of the previous calendar year. Parking is allocated on a priority system based on gift level. So, you will need to make your gift before December 31st of each year to qualify for parking for the next year. For example, if I donated before December 31, 2023, I would be eligible to apply for parking for the 2024 football season.

Note: Please be aware that gameday parking opportunities are not guaranteed to every member. Auburn University’s gameday parking program and allotments are determined annually by a priority system and may be terminated at any time.

You are only eligible to purchase one parking pass per individual membership no matter your level of contribution.

In compliance with IRS regulations, a non-deductible fee will be required each year for purchasing gameday football parking passes. This fee will be collected separately upon the university’s allocation and launch of each season’s leasing program.
