        New Position for the Examiners of Public Accounts

        Job Descriptions: 

        Compliance Examiner I:This is entry‐level professional position involving legal compliance examinations of the records and accounts of state agencies, colleges, school boards, and local governmental entities.   This position requires extensive daily travel with occasional overnight travel.

        Accounts Examiner I: This is entry‐level professional auditing position performing on‐site audits and compliance examinations of state agencies, colleges, school boards, and local governmental entities.  


        Minimum Requirements:

        Compliance Examiner I: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Legal Studies, Economics, or a closely related field from an accredited four‐year college or university.
        *Individuals currently in their last semester of college may apply and participate in the interview process.

        Accounts Examiner I: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited four‐year college or university.
        *Individuals currently in their last semester of college may apply and participate in the interview process.
