Prior to graduation, accounting majors are highly recruited by top companies for internship positions. At the conclusion of the internship, most students are offered full-time employment. Students who are interested in earning a CPA License are encouraged to enroll in the Master of Accountancy (MAcc) Program. Auburn students who go on to take the Certified Public Accountants exam have one of the highest pass rates in the country – 10 times the national average.

Our CPA pass rates place are ten time the national average. In fact, since 2005, our MAcc students have achieved an average pass rate of 85% across all four parts of the exam.
The school’s online programs (BSBA in Accounting and the Master of Accountancy) have earned top rankings, including Top 10 national rankings from U.S. News & World Report.
With more than 500 declared undergraduate students, accounting vies to be one of the biggest academic program in the Harbert College.
