Investing in your future is worth it. However, it’s important to know that some programs require funding through additional fees not covered in tuition payments in order to provide a high-quality learning environment that students expect. These additional amounts help to cover not only the direct costs of providing instruction and advising in these programs but also indirect costs associated with Auburn’s role as a comprehensive center of higher education for the state.
Auburn University tuition and fees may vary slightly from year to year. Please view Auburn University Tuition for the most up-to-date tuition costs.
As a professional school, the Harbert College of Business charges a professional fee in addition to the standard university fees. The professional fee is not covered by tuition and state appropriations. This fee ensures that Harbert College students have the best available career guidance and placement services.
All undergraduate students enrolled in the pre-business curriculum, as well as those who have declared a major within the Harbert College, will be charged the professional fee. Students seeking a business minor will not be charged this professional fee. Rates are as follows:
Class Standing | Fall and Spring Semesters | Summer Semester |
Freshman (0-29 semester hours) | $318 | $106 |
Sophomore (30-59 semester hours) | $318 | $106 |
