Dr. Yen-Yao Wang is an Assistant Professor in Information Systems Management at the
Department of Systems and Technology at the Harbert College of Business of Auburn
University. His research interests include business analytics, social media, digital
marketing, Economics of information systems, and IT management.
His work has appeared in several academic journals and peer-reviewed conferences such as Information Systems and e-Business Management, Journal of Enterprise Information Management, International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), Workshop on Information Systems and Economics (WISE), INFORMS Conference on Information Systems and Technology (CIST), Workshop on Information Technology and Systems (WITS), among others.
He has been a recipient of Ph.D. Student Excellence in Teaching and Ph.D. Student Excellence in Research by the Department of Accounting and Information Systems at Michigan State University. His research has been supported by grants from Ministry of Education of Taiwan. He teaches Advanced Programming Application Development in R, App Development Emerging Technology in Python, and Advanced Business Data Communications both at the undergraduate and graduate levels at Auburn University.
