The Auburn Student Investment Fund is a student-run organization that provides a practical way for students to enhance their knowledge and awareness of the equity markets. The Auburn Student Investment Fund is funded by Birmingham-based investment bank Sterne Agee Group, Inc. and competes with other schools in the southeast to produce the largest investment gains during the fall and spring semesters. Founded in 1974, the Financial Management Association (FMA) National Honor Society (NHS) is the only internationally honorary specifically for finance students. Students inducted to the NHS have a unique means of demonstrating their academic and professional excellence to potential employers.
