Southwest Airlines Internship Opportunities

Southwest Airlines has opened their Spring and Summer Internships!

Applications are open September 1 - 7, 2026

Internship qualifications include, but aren't limited to:

• Progress toward a degree, major, or minor relevant to the internship.
• Minimum sophomore status by the time the internship starts.
• Applicants may not have an undergraduate graduation date before the start of the internship unless already enrolled in a full-time graduate degree program at the time of application.
• To be eligible, you must be currently enrolled as a full-time student as defined by your university at the time of application.
• Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA required at the time of application. 
• Workplace requirements vary by role and will be outlined in the job description for each role.
