You can declare your major if you are a current Pre-Business student* with 30 or more earned hours.  (* 1st semester Pre-Business freshmen who entered AU with 30 or more hours of AP, IB, and/or dual enrollment must complete your first semester at AU before being eligible to declare.)

Change Your Major

Business Students
If you have already declared a business major  but want to change to a different Business major, visit the HCoB Advising Canvas to initiate your major change. 

Non-business Students  ----- Students transferring to Business from another major on campus should note the Spring 2026 'transfer blackout period' (when students are not allowed to transfer into the College of Business) starting at 11:59 PM, Friday, March 6th and ending at 8:00 AM, Thursday, April 16th.      

If you are considering transferring into the College of Business:

• Perform a ‘What If’ function in Degree Works, and
