        Are you interested in supplementing your degree with a business minor? This 15-hour minor is designed to provide a solid foundation of core business principles to non-business majors.  

        Note that prerequisites will not be waived, so pay special attention to the planning of your minor course work. 

        Business Minor Requirements

        Required Courses (12 hours)

        • 3 hours ACCOUNTING  (note sophomore-level prerequisite)  
          1. ACCT 2810: Fundamentals of Accounting OR ACCT 2110: Principles of Financial Accounting
        • 3 hours FINANCE  (note Accounting and junior-level prerequisite) 
          • FINC 3810: Foundations of Business Finance OR FINC 3610: Principles of Business Finance
        • 3 hours MANAGEMENT  (note junior-level prerequisite)
        • 3 hours MARKETING  (note junior-level prerequisite) 
          • MKTG 3810: Foundations of Marketing OR MKTG 3310: Principles of Marketing
