        Master the Art of Selling with the Professional Sales Minor

        Designed for business majors, Auburn’s 15-hour Professional Sales minor builds expertise in B2B and B2C selling, CRM, negotiation, and digital tools—perfect for launching a high-impact sales career.

        The undergraduate minor in Professional Sales is designed to provide advanced education for students planning to obtain professional sales positions. The curriculum focuses on the core selling concepts associated with both business-to-business and business-to-consumer market exchanges. The program places a special emphasis on the utilization of contemporary technologies in both successful selling and sales management.

        Prerequisites are denoted for courses below. THIS MINOR IS AVAILABLE TO BUSINESS MAJORS ONLY

        Required Courses (12 hours):*


        3 hours from the following:

        • MKTG 4430 Business-to-Business Marketing
        • MKTG 4490: Negotiating and Conflict Resolution
        • MKTG 4900: Directed Studies (with departmental approval only) 
        • MKTG 5500 Digital Marketing  (Honors College students may choose MKTG 5507) 


        * MKTG 3310 or MKTG 3810 (with a grade of C or better) is the prerequisite for all courses
        ** MKTG 4390 (with a grade of C or better) is the prerequisite
