        Professional Activities

        Wang joined Auburn University in 2016. Prior to that, he was the faculty member at the University of Alabama and Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research interests include empirical corporate finance, corporate governance, mutual funds, and behavioral finance.

        Wang has published in Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial StudiesJournal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Review of Corporate Financial Studies, and Financial Management. He won the 2015 Best Paper Reward of the Society for Financial Studies. He is also the recipient of 2017 Outstanding Research Reward of the Harbert College of Business. He teaches financial management, portfolio management, quantitative investment analysis, financial modeling, and cases in corporate finance at the undergraduate and MBA levels, and he teaches empirical research methods and theory of finance and investment seminar for doctoral students.
