Scholarships & Case Competitions:

  • Pitch for Purpose
    • Application Deadline, September 15th
      • Pitch for Purpose is a Shark Tank-style entrepreneurship competition sponsored by WM Partners, a private equity firm focused on health and wellness businesses. The program is open to undergraduate and graduate students, either individually or in teams, who have an innovative health and wellness consumer product, brand, or business idea. Participants will receive mentorship from industry professionals, gain real-world entrepreneurial experience, and have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to investors and business leaders.

        Students interested in participating must submit an application form, a two-minute video, and a one-page concept overview by September 15, 2026. Throughout the competition, selected participants will work with mentors to refine their ideas before competing in live pitch events. Finalists will present their concepts at the final competition on January 8, 2027.

        In addition to valuable networking and professional development opportunities, participants will compete for cash prizes and internships. The first-place team will receive $10,000 and an internship opportunity, second place will receive $5,000 and an internship opportunity, and third place will receive $2,500. Students can apply by emailing their materials to A.Vargas@wmplp.com.
