This summer, Saltmarsh will once again host our annual two-day Beacon Leadership Experience for rising college students in both Tampa and Pensacola.

• We’ll demonstrate key differences between tax and audit roles, and answer questions about what a “day in the life” looks like. 
• Less talking and more doing – engaging students with more hands-on experiences and reflection time to connect classroom knowledge to the real-world. 
• Make meaningful connections and learn how to market themselves.

  Beacon Focus: 

• Building Relationships: Students will meet industry leaders and make meaningful connections with professionals and peers. 
• Coaching: Join interactive mini-sessions to prepare students for leadership positions and life after the classroom. 
• Life in Public Accounting: Emphasis on life as a public accountant – we are throwing back the curtains and giving students the inside scoop on a 'Day in the Life' of audit and tax professionals. 
• Interview Opportunities: Think of Beacon as a 2-day interview. Students can further showcase their individual skills and discuss future interests during a one-on-one interview.
