        Admissions Requirements

        To be eligible to apply to the online MS Finance program, you must

        • Have primary residency in the United States or Canada, or be in the United States military
        • Hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized university or college
        • Have completed the following Common Body of Knowledge courses:
          • ECON 2023: Principles of Microeconomics
          • MATH 1683: Calculus with Business Applications
          • BUAL 2606: Enterprising Management of the Big Data Environment*
          • BUAL 3606: Tech Aspects of Big Data*

        *STAT 2610 may substitute for BUAL 2600 and BUAL 3600

        If you have not completed the Common Body of Knowledge courses or their equivalent at another university, you may be asked to enroll in the ones you currently lack. These courses would not count toward your MS Finance degree.

        How to Apply

        Apply through our online Graduate School Application. The program is listed as Finance (Distance Program). Please note that we only admit students to fall and spring semesters (no summer admission). 

        A completed application includes:

        • Application fee paid to the Graduate School
        • Official undergraduate university transcript
        • Official GMAT score (preferred) or GRE score
        • Official TOEFL or IELTS score (international students only)
        • Two letters of reference
        • Personal statement
        • Résumé

        Application Deadlines

        If you’re applying for fall admission, submit your completed application no later than May 1. If you’re applying for spring admission, submit your completed application no later than November 1

        Applications submitted after the deadline may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
