Honors Business Minor – For Non-Business Honors Students
Exclusively for Auburn Honors College students outside of business majors, this 15-hour Honors Business Minor delivers core business fundamentals through honors-level courses—perfect for future leaders in any field.
Requirements
Honors-Level Courses
Four of the five courses you take as part of this minor must be honors-level courses. With the exception of ACCT 2810 for students completing this minor in the *Business Abroad program, 'Foundations' courses are not allowed for this minor.
Required Courses (12 hours)
- *ACCT 2110/2117: Principles of Financial Accounting (sophomore standing required)
- FINC 3610/3617: Principles of Business Finance (ACCT 2110/2117 prerequisite; junior standing required)
- MNGT 3100/3107: Principles of Management (junior standing required)
- MKTG 3310/3317: Principles of Marketing (junior standing required)
Elective Courses (3 hours)
*Students completing this minor in the Harbert College of Business summer abroad program will satisfy the Accounting requirement with ACCT 2817: Honors Fundamentals of Accounting.
