Harbert College of Business faculty member Michael Wesson, the David and Meredith Luck endowed professor, was co-author of a study published in the Harvard Business Review on remote workforce monitoring methods.

Wesson and his colleagues found that some monitoring methods can foster openness, collaboration, and innovation - while others lead employees to disengage and withhold new ideas. Wesson’s co-authors are Alexander Hamrick, University of Richmond; Sana Zafar, Georgia Southern University; Jeffrey LePine, Arizona State University; and Chase Thiel, University of Wyoming.
