        Harbert climbs in U.S. News & World Report 2024 online program rankings

        In the 2024 U.S. News & World Report's Best Online Program Ranking, Auburn University's Harbert College of Business made significant strides in several categories while maintaining consistency in others. Most notably, it jumped to #14 in the Best Online Master’s in Business Programs (non-MBA) from its previous #27 spot.

        Harbert’s move in the ranking of master’s in business programs is significant considering the quality of the accredited schools in the online space that participate in the annual U.S. News & World Report survey. Harbert also made a remarkable leap to #5 in the Best Online Master’s in Business Program (non-MBA) for Veterans category. Up seven spots from last year, this jump underscores the college's dedication to providing accessible and high-quality education to those who have served their country.

        “We've seen a notable increase in our position across all online business programs. This reflects our commitment at Harbert College of Business to provide access to some of the finest business programs in the nation. We are dedicated to continuously improving the quality of all our programs while maintaining the value our students deserve," said Associate Dean of Graduate and Executive Programs Michael Wesson.

        In the Best Online MBA Programs category, Harbert maintains its top 25 ranking at #22 out of 350 participating programs. It also earned the #14 spot for Best Online Business Analytics MBA Programs, demonstrating the program's excellence in delivering comprehensive and industry-relevant education, and #22 as Best Online MBA Programs for Veterans.

        U.S. News & World Report's annual rankings offer a comprehensive evaluation of online MBA programs, relying on data specific to student engagement and success, peer-school assessment, faculty credentials and training, and services and technologies.
